Deadpool Movie Confirmed!

The Merc With A Mouth is finally getting his own movie! Yes! Honestly, I think this is going to be the most anticipated movie of the year. Deadpool is one of the most beloved superheros, ahem, I meant to say anti-heros. That's right. Deadpool is not all good, and you all probably already know that. But just because you have a humorous Deadpool shirt doesn't mean you know all about him. Did you know he killed the entire Marvel Universe? Did you know that he doesn't really like chimichangas, he just likes saying the word?! That's what I thought.

Yes, Deadpool kills the entire Marvel universe in the comic book series Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe. And why does he do that, you may ask. Well, because he goes insane at the thought that the heros and villains are unreal. I mean, he is always breaking the fourth wall. He's bound to realize that there are people outside of the comic books.

And finally, Deadpool doesn't really like chimichangas. He just likes the sound of the word. Don't believe me? "This place makes the best chimichanga on the island. Don't even like chimichangas all that much. I just love saying it. Chimichanga. Chimichanga. Chimichanga. Chimichanga." That was from the series Cable and Deadpool in issue 13. There's not much more to that.

So now you know. Once the Deadpool movie comes out you'll be good and educated on him so you won't be confused while watching the film. You might wana study up on him a little bit more actually, I didn't give that much info...

Year Walk

Arsgang is a Swedish tradition. Arsgang literally translates into "Year Walk", and this interesting tradition has been made into a beautiful game under the same name. In the game Year Walk, you play as a young man in love with a beautiful woman. This woman is not allowed to be seen with the young man, their relationship is a bit like Romeo's and Juliet's. The young man decides to Year Walk to see if he will be able to marry the woman in the future. The woman warns him not to, but the young man does not listen. He loves this woman too much not to know.

Sweden has brought us some amazing things, such as the zipper, the adjustable wrench, and yes, Pewdiepie. But the game Year Walk takes the cake. Okay, maybe it's on the same level as Pewdiepie. Actually, the game Year Walk was not made in Sweden, but the idea for it was. Arsgang is a Swedish tradition that, in theory, will let you see into the future if you perform the tasks it entails properly. The game Year Walk was made in 2013, and oh my gosh, it is beautiful. SO beautiful, in fact, that I had to italicize and underline the word beautiful just to try to describe it. I'm not going to tell much about the story, although I do love the story, I'm going to talk more feelings-while-playing-the-game-wise.

First of all, the setting, mood, and music fit perfectly together. I need to say how much I adore this music. This music is just, oh man, amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. I just don't know. You need to experience it for yourself. Anyway, this game has a unique style of gameplay. You get around by sliding your finger across the screen. At first, this put me off. But then I realized that I like it this way. I wouldn't want a D-Pad clogging up the screen. The puzzles in this game are very challenging. You get an amazing sense of satisfaction after you complete just one. I suggest not to look up a walkthrough, you'll feel much better knowing that you beat the game without any help. Lastly, this game is deeeeep. Like, so deep that it needs a companion app to give you the true ending. And even after you experience the EXTREMELY climactic ending, you're left wanting...more.

Year Walk is amazing. It's not just amazing, it's something way more. It's undescribable. I'm not even sure if that's a real word. Am I forgetting something? Oh yeah.

Year Walk is a horror game.

Heheheh.

ARK Survival: Evolved Is Great!

My brother and I recently bought the preview for ARK Survival: Evolved on our XBox One, and boy is it great. I know I made a post about this game already, but I don't think I covered how AMAZING it really is! I mean, a game where you live with all of your favorite dinosaurs? It's gotta be great. So I hope I can do justice to this epic masterpiece of a game.

ARK is basically a survival game. You wake up on an island (whether you're alone or not depends on if you're playing on a server) naked, cold, and stranded. You need to get down to business now, so you need to begin punching a tree, yes really, to get wood, a necessity. As painful as that may sound, it seems to work. After you collect wood and possibly a few stones if you can find them, you can make a few things, such as a pickaxe or a campfire. Soon, you will come across your first dinosaur. Hopefully it's nice, and you won't get attacked. You really can't do anything with it, currently, so you should leave it alone. Skip ahead a few hours.

You have a nice little hut, a couple of dinosaurs, and a full set of stone tools. You can take those dinosaurs out for a spin if you equip them with a saddle, it sure is fun to ride them. You could make friends with other players if you're on a server, and they can help you achieve primal greatness. The rest is up to you. You decide how to survive and thrive. You decide who is in your tribe. You decide how to become the best.

ARK is amazing, check it out. It's available for preview on some newer consoles, and it has been fully released on PC. The graphics are beautiful, and the dinosaurs are awesome. Just don't forget to eat! That's a reference, by the way.

Pokemon 20

It's nearing Pokemon's 20th anniversary, and the company is going to be celebrating all year. The Pokemon Company will be releasing special Pokemon cards, a new game, and even a Super Bowl commercial, among many other things. I'm so happy that Pokemon has come this far, it gave and is continuing to give me and my brothers bonding material and great fun. In this post, I'm going to tell how I came to love Pokemon so much and why I'm still in love with the franchise.

When I was little, Pokemon was extremely popular in school and at home. People watched the anime, traded the cards, and played the games. I was among those people, and though I didn't yet have a console to play the games on, I still enjoyed the franchise in other ways. I watched the anime whenever it was on, I bought the cards and toys, and I read the books and watched the movies. When I got older, only then did I realize how amazing it is to embark on your own Pokemon journey.

It may sound funny to people who aren't fans of Pokemon, or to people who don't know much about it, but Pokemon brings people together. That's what I've experienced. I made friends and strengthened relationships using Pokemon. Once I started Pokemon White, the first Pokemon game I ever owned, I began to understand this fact on a deeper level. Pokemon is about making friends, whether they're animal or human, and to strengthen the relationships you have with those friends. Pokemon is deep, man. I hope that all Pokemon fans enjoy this awesome celebration, and to those who aren't fans, give Pokemon a try. I think you'll really enjoy it. Happy birthday Pokemon!
