Assassin's Creed: Identity

I haven't had any experience with the Assassin's Creed series, except for Assassins Creed: Identity. I know that lately the Assassin's Creed games have been pretty bad, but I haven't tried them out for myself yet. Because I haven't had any experience with this series, I suggest that anybody who has and whoever doesn't like Identity not to read this post, because I'm probably going to upset you with my ignorance in this series. Anyway, let's begin.

Personally, I like Assassin's Creed: Identity. A lot. It's a great RPG and you can take it with you on the go. It has decent graphics and it's fun to play. It also has great outfits for your Assassins to wear. The campaign was hard for me to follow, although I didn't read much of the Codex Entries so I guess that's expected. I read some reviews and it seems that a lot of people weren't satisfied with this game. It's obviously because they've played a lot of games in the Assassin's Creed series, but come on, it's a mobile game. It's good enough for me, better than good enough. Cut it some slack! I don't blame the people who wrote these reviews though, they've seen better from the series and they're expecting something more from Ubisoft.

For anyone who is not familiar with the Assassin's Creed series, I suggest this game. You'll like it. You won't be comparing it to other games in the series so you'll enjoy it more if it really is so bad next to the other games. And if this game pulls you into the Assassin's Creed fanbase like it has with me, then I guarantee that you'll enjoy whatever else the series has to offer.

Dinosaur Pumpkin Patch: Conclusion

My family and I walked to the car, and I desperately pulled on my mom's hand to stay away from the T-Rex. I waved goodbye to the sweet, little llama and the nice Velociraptors. My funny little kid self had bonded with them in that short time, and I was sad to leave them. My brother, Cole, seemed to have bonded with a pig, although it almost pooped in his hand. Cole thought he was feeding it. My dad saved him just as the huge pile of fecal matter hit the floor. My mom still laughs at remembering that.

Sammy and his mom walked over to us. My mom asked us if we needed to use the bathroom. Sammy did and so did I. I said yes, but I just remembered that the toilets were right next to the T-Rex. I had a hard time talking my mom out of bringing me to the bathroom. It was a long ride home, but I was happy. I got a nice pumpkin, and I got to see both dinosaurs and animals.

This is the end of my preschool, Jurassic Park-esque adventure. Now that I'm writing this all down, I'm thinking of finding that pumpkin patch again and enjoying all of it, even the T-Rex. That'll be for another time. See ya'.

Dinosaur Pumpkin Patch: Part 3

My little fists clenched tight enough to bend steel. My little lungs filled with so much air they could pop. And my little eyes were so big they could jump right out of my head. I was so scared. Right at the entrance to the petting zoo two Velociraptors sat on hay bales looking directly at me. One I was nose-to-nose with. The other was right above me. Needless to say, I was not expecting this.

It seemed that the people who orchestrated this whole event focused on carnivorous dinosaurs. I think I remember seeing a Triceratops, but the Velociraptors are the ones that stick out clearly in my mind. They were about my size and they were animatronic, just like the T-Rex. I clutched my mom's hand and walked into the petting zoo, eager to play with the llama that was looking toward me. My brother and my dad were in the petting zoo with me, and so was Sammy.

I clearly remember trying to calm the llama because I thought it was scared of the dinosaurs, too. Just thinking about this makes me smile. I was such a sweet little kid. I was telling it 'The Velociraptors will protect us.' I was calming down because I actually liked the Velociraptors, the only reason I was scared of dinosaur skeletons and the T-Rex was because of their size. The Velociraptors were about my height, if not a little taller.

I was finally calming down. I was slowly stroking the llama's back. i realized that it was nighttime and that I would have to go soon. But I was happy that I got to relax a little. I was still afraid of that T-Rex though.

Dinosaur Pumpkin Farm: Part 2

That T-Rex robot scared the heck out of me. I would not go near it. I stayed under the tent set-up that the pumpkins were in. I insisted that every pumpkin that my mom picked out was not to my liking, just to stay away from that robot.

We stayed in the patch for a while, every pumpkin offered to me I would turn down. That T-Rex looked Godzilla sized, I swear. I now know that that couldn't be true, I was just overreacting, but oh man. My three year old self felt like a speck of dust next to that monstrosity. I remember it clearly. I don't think I was afraid of it eating me. It was just the sheer size of it. I knew I couldn't get within 20 feet of it without having a nervous breakdown. That was, until I saw...

The petting zoo.

I could not pass up that petting zoo. Like I said, I was obsessed with animals. I couldn't get enough of them. Them and dinosaurs, but at this time I genuinely feared for my life because of dinosaurs. I would have to suck it up. Man up for the animals, I told myself. I could imagine the calming effect of the cute creatures in their little pens. Even though their little pens were right next to the T-Rex foot. I picked out a random pumpkin, showed it to my mom and asked her if I could see the petting zoo. She took me there, and I squeezed my eyes shut until I reached the gate. I open my eyes and to my horror I realized that there wasn't just a T-Rex robot. There were more.

Dinosaur Pumpkin Farm: Part 1

I love dinosaurs. I bet everyone does actually. They're just too cool not to like. I constantly read books about them was little, and I would surprise my preschool teachers with my knowledge about them. I liked to read about dinosaurs then, but if I would ever come close to a skeleton I would start panicking. I don't know what it was, maybe the size was too overwhelming. But what really terrified me was getting up close and personal with a real one, or a realistic robotic one at least.

This story starts near Halloween. I was a few years old and my parents wanted to take my friend and me to a pumpkin patch. I was excited to go. I really liked going to pumpkin patches. Sometimes they would have animals. I was obsessed with animals then.

On the day of the excursion my mom dressed me up in jeans and my little leather pilot jacket. She put me in the car and we drove to the pumpkin patch. We would meet my friend there. I can't remember how long the drive was but once we got there the first thing I noticed were the pumpkins. The next thing was my friend, Sammy, and his mom. The next thing was the imposing Tyrannosaurus Rex staring at me.

The pumpkin patch was filled with robotic dinosaurs. Why would those things even be there, I ask myself as I'm writing this. I don't see what they have to do with Halloween or pumpkins. All I know is that my little body was filled with fear, then.

Deadpool Movie Confirmed!

The Merc With A Mouth is finally getting his own movie! Yes! Honestly, I think this is going to be the most anticipated movie of the year. Deadpool is one of the most beloved superheros, ahem, I meant to say anti-heros. That's right. Deadpool is not all good, and you all probably already know that. But just because you have a humorous Deadpool shirt doesn't mean you know all about him. Did you know he killed the entire Marvel Universe? Did you know that he doesn't really like chimichangas, he just likes saying the word?! That's what I thought.

Yes, Deadpool kills the entire Marvel universe in the comic book series Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe. And why does he do that, you may ask. Well, because he goes insane at the thought that the heros and villains are unreal. I mean, he is always breaking the fourth wall. He's bound to realize that there are people outside of the comic books.

And finally, Deadpool doesn't really like chimichangas. He just likes the sound of the word. Don't believe me? "This place makes the best chimichanga on the island. Don't even like chimichangas all that much. I just love saying it. Chimichanga. Chimichanga. Chimichanga. Chimichanga." That was from the series Cable and Deadpool in issue 13. There's not much more to that.

So now you know. Once the Deadpool movie comes out you'll be good and educated on him so you won't be confused while watching the film. You might wana study up on him a little bit more actually, I didn't give that much info...

Year Walk

Arsgang is a Swedish tradition. Arsgang literally translates into "Year Walk", and this interesting tradition has been made into a beautiful game under the same name. In the game Year Walk, you play as a young man in love with a beautiful woman. This woman is not allowed to be seen with the young man, their relationship is a bit like Romeo's and Juliet's. The young man decides to Year Walk to see if he will be able to marry the woman in the future. The woman warns him not to, but the young man does not listen. He loves this woman too much not to know.

Sweden has brought us some amazing things, such as the zipper, the adjustable wrench, and yes, Pewdiepie. But the game Year Walk takes the cake. Okay, maybe it's on the same level as Pewdiepie. Actually, the game Year Walk was not made in Sweden, but the idea for it was. Arsgang is a Swedish tradition that, in theory, will let you see into the future if you perform the tasks it entails properly. The game Year Walk was made in 2013, and oh my gosh, it is beautiful. SO beautiful, in fact, that I had to italicize and underline the word beautiful just to try to describe it. I'm not going to tell much about the story, although I do love the story, I'm going to talk more feelings-while-playing-the-game-wise.

First of all, the setting, mood, and music fit perfectly together. I need to say how much I adore this music. This music is just, oh man, amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. I just don't know. You need to experience it for yourself. Anyway, this game has a unique style of gameplay. You get around by sliding your finger across the screen. At first, this put me off. But then I realized that I like it this way. I wouldn't want a D-Pad clogging up the screen. The puzzles in this game are very challenging. You get an amazing sense of satisfaction after you complete just one. I suggest not to look up a walkthrough, you'll feel much better knowing that you beat the game without any help. Lastly, this game is deeeeep. Like, so deep that it needs a companion app to give you the true ending. And even after you experience the EXTREMELY climactic ending, you're left wanting...more.

Year Walk is amazing. It's not just amazing, it's something way more. It's undescribable. I'm not even sure if that's a real word. Am I forgetting something? Oh yeah.

Year Walk is a horror game.

Heheheh.
